I'm somehow itching to build the insides of that ship...
Hey Pete, what do you say? I have also the chapel from Balance of Terror on my hard drive, I think we could pull it off. That ship was two decks, with bridge, chapel, and a small shuttle hangar on top of it, right?

Wow, that would be really cool! Unfortunately it's a bit more than two decks with a Bridge; it's actually eight decks, plus a ninth "service deck" which also holds the sensor dish housing. Here's a cross-section:
![]() Also, the "chapel" under the Bridge is actually a full-fledged church, and is a bit fancier than the generic chapel on the Enterprise. ![]() However, the shuttlebay is exactly the same size as the one on the Enterprise, so at least you'll be able to use the pre-set shuttlebay. ![]()

Ah, I think the talk about the thickness of the saucer rim was what lead me to the wrong conclusion the whole ship has only two decks.
But it still stands. Give me a floor plan (your ship after all), and I'll pull off the build. The shuttle bay would be additional ten dollars, I think... Or was that just a shuttle? Checking... Just five bucks. And I found another shuttle for free. How many shuttles does a papal variant have? What kind of names (maybe bishops)? Even if it has a full fledged church (what for?), I still can use some of the original props. I'm really getting into it. It's so easy, yet effective. Equals fun!

Awesome, I'm glad you're having fun with this! I certainly enjoy it.
![]() I roughed out some basic floorplans (basically turbo-shaft locations) but I didn't figure out where the rooms are located, etc. I'll have to do that before I send you anything! The ship has four shuttles; basically two shuttles each with a back-up. I figure they can be named after saints - maybe the same saints that are depicted in the church's stained glass? As for why it has a church instead of just a chapel, well, that's because it's my fictional spaceship. ![]()

Uh-huh...
Well, I can't identify those saints (protestant), so I need their names. For the bridge, I found this set that looks promising. http://www.sharecg.com/v/36793/3D-Mo...e-**UPDATED-** Or I go nuts with the props of the Starship bridge again. But this bridge here has a bit Pike-feeling IMO.

Hmm, I like the layout of that Bridge! The B-XVI's bridge was planned to have the turbolift directly behind the command chair, so in that case the set works really well. However, I don't like the ENT-style consoles, or the weird displays, or the non-TOS chairs, or the green red-alert indicator. Or the brown floor, haha.
I think it might be better for you to "build" the Bridge with the bridge parts you have, and just make the layout similar to that one. I really like the exposed wiring and cable trunks on the wall, though! I'm also pretty sure that you have the parts to give it a Pike-era viewscreen, too. ![]()

OR, I just load that bridge, delete load the consoles necessary, delete the old consoles, and recolour the new ones to match the Pike era.
Work for you?

That could work, but don't forget the proper chairs as well!
![]() Also, would it be possible to put the turbolift doors back in the alcove it normally has? Having the doors that far up doesn't really work with the "anatomy" of a TOS bridge. ![]()

Sure.
But I don't know if the walls are all one material zone and will disappear together... And I'd never forget the chairs.
