I hope you all like it.

I would love it for someone to replicate this image, but as one flash file, with every individual screen animated, that would be cool!!

The ship is modeled with the Akira, and Titan Classes, having a secondary hull somewhat like the Titan, and primary hull like both classes. It is bigger than the Akira, however. I only used the Windows Paint to draw these. Its the best I can use for my starships.
Let me know what you think of the USS Farren.

Hi guys, i have a massive project i am about to start, I am going to convert an extended double garage into a real starship bridge.

i have found an architect willing to take on the building using blueprints found here on the forums. he has calculated the bridge dimensions, floor space, height etc and it just fits.

i am wanting your opinions.

the bridge is constitution class undiscovered country enterprise-a, with one major difference being an MSD on the main wall behind cptns chair. The ship will be names the USS Chloe Mae NCC-13708.
i will use a mix of real flat screen monitors for animated consoles, rear lit laminated prints for consoles and digital photo frames for smaller, static displays to save money. (although the images are static, the photo frames will be set to the slideshow setting allowing me to change the images randomly, using many, many images)

i would like to know if u guys think i should stick with the blue/green console displays as of the 2280s or should i have tng/ds9/voy lcars displays?

there is a lot more available lcars animations around for my displays than of the movie, but i am torn between the two options.

also need some help with the msd and ship blue prints etc...i am rubbish at making these things and wonder if someone could lend there expertise at changing registry numbers and names on msd's, and other images i have?

i would really like as many opinions as possible

thanks

I have used flash CS4/5 to create images and animated LCARS. A 3D modeller (T E Williams) made a google sketchup model of the ship that I use to create accurate plans. Axeman rendered additional textures and a short animation.
Colin Eddie created a 3D model of the Swiftwind bridge that I used to created a drawing of it.
What I'm looking for is someone who knows what they are doing and/or can create ENT/NX-01 graphics based on specifications I send them. Since I only know how to create LCARS and have had no experience or research into other Star Trek Control Interfaces, I am looking for someone to take over the development of this Interface Theme.
Anyway, I wanted to create a signature that would be visually interesting, so I found a vector version of the new NYC taxi font, colored those letters in NYC TV colors, and then took a section from an MTA subway map, and superimposed my name above it, making a clipping mask, so that the map image would appear to constitute or fill the letters of my name. Here was the end result, which can also be found on my posts at ForumNYC.

Well, as some of you may know, a while back I spent a full 5 days searching the internet for the PC keyboard that was used as a wall decoration/prop on the walls of the Battlestar Pegasus corridors and in Admiral Cain's quarters. Well, I finally found the exact keyboard, and found a domestic supplier, so I bought the first one! I plan to get two. I will only need two physical examples, as the rest of the corridor will be a CGI set extension, so the keyboards will be digitally cloned in CGI.

Anyway, here are some pics of the box it came in, as well as the keyboard in the box as I opened it. Below the pics, you can find the link to the post on my UrantiaActual forum where you can verify that this is indeed the keyboard that was used on nuBSG.

And here is the link to the comparison/verification post on UrantiaActual...

Ok, this is my idea for a Star Trek theme park,
Sorry, anyone who thought this was an already built park...this is my idea...i have an idea thats more of an 'experience' and 'activity' than a theme park... the name star trek 'experience' was already taken though of course.. i have an idea for a ship built in a field somewhere..35 or so people would be vistitors or guests once on board they would be completely immersed in the ship-bound world of star trek..they would get completely engaged in the ship activitys and such, its just an idea, but i think its a briliant one (no self given praise- but i stil think it is a brilliant idea)

Tell me what you think

I have thought alot about this and would answer any questions you might give

I will post a completed deckplan of my ship which would be the whole site for the stay, in a moment.
